We decided to post the unedited video to educate about the reality of ongoing evil that home, churches and public venues face from evil people. This video will also help other church security teams with tightening their own security protocols and is powerful evidence of the need for Christians to protect others from evil, especially in a worship setting or at home.

Park Chapel Christian Church in Greenfield, Indiana, has a security team of 10 local officers — also members of the church — who will be dressed in casual clothing but fully armed during services, FOX59 reported.

Scott Kern, the director of ministries, said the church accelerated their security plans following last month’s mass shooting at Sutherland Springs, Texas, where a gunman murdered 26 people.

“We want to make sure people are safe, and they feel safe when they come to church on Sunday.”

With the increased threat level or random mass shootings, now increasingly targeting congregations, more pastors and church boards have implemented security protocols and armed security teams to keep watch over those in attendance.

Protecting those who are vulnerable is the ultimate act of love. And because of the lethality of these armed attacks, providing security without adequate firepower to stop an armed attacker, is a false sense of security.

Christians have a responsibility to protect those entrusted to our care. If you don’t already have a plan and an armed security team, prayerfully and quickly take the necessary steps to provide a safe place for your members and visitors.
